KaraMuru is Bahia's first Craft Brewery. Founded in 2008 by American brewer Naga Reshi in the beautiful Island of Itaparica. Karamuru's Brewery is located in the port town of Mar Grande, a 40 minute boat (Lancha) ride from the capital city of Salvador, Bahia.

KaraMuru brews high quality, all-grain, artisan beer. Offerings include an American Pale Ale, Golden Ale, Imperial Stoudt, Barley Wines, and Wheat (which is sometimes blended with local, seasonal fruits). All beers are brewed using quality local & imported ingredients with mineral spring water from the island . Map
